작품 상세
Zimmers were factory produced in Florida beginning in the mid 1970’s and were initially modern interpretations of early Mercedes cars from the 1930’s. In 1985, a decision was made by the president and CEO of Zimmer to produce an exclusive personal luxury car with the Zimmer Quicksilver being the byproduct. The cars were produced from 1986 through 1988 with total production amounting to just 170 cars before the factory was permanently closed. The Zimmer currently offered for auction was further modified in Tehachapi, California. with the substitution of a LS V-8 Corvette engine replacing the original V-6 powerplant. It is estimated that only 4 of the original 170 cars had this modification which was estimated to cost nearly $20,000. This car comes with a clean Arizona title.
