Rare truck as Scottsmans were only built in 58 and 59. Powered by a healthy 383 Chevy stroker engine, mated to a 700 R4 automatic transmission with switch operated overdrive, line lock, Shortened Ford 9 Inch rear end with 4:11 gears tubbed with 14 inch wide wheels. power steering, power brakes, Lokar shifter, old time siren horn. Passionate Pearl House of Color paint is in incredible condition considering that is was painted 40 years ago. Truck was built by current owner and his son. His son unfortunately passed away and the truck has been a tribute to him. Truck ran 11.90 back in the day with a different motor. Current motor has not been raced, just cruised. Glove box cover has been painted with sons image. There is another glove box cover that is painted to match and is included with the truck. Seller would like to retain the tribute glove box cover if the new owner wouldn't mind. It is riveted which is why he hasn't changed it prior to the auction. He has many great memories with this awesome truck but he is ready to let it go to a new owner which he hopes will enjoy it as much as he has. Truck will also come with another full set of tires and rims of same with as a spare set including a new full sized hydraulic jack. Also comes with a brand new Edelbrock VRS 4150 Dual Feed Carb as pictured as a bonus.
