An Indonesian oil landscape painting on canvas by Affandi, 1965. The painting depicts a vibrant expressionist composition by the sea coast with two boys playing ball. Signed with a monogram, titled and dated lower right. Framed. Affandi Kusuma, 1907 to 1990, Indonesian expressionist artist. Received wide recognition in Indonesia and abroad. Founder of the Affandi Museum in Yogyakarta. His daughter Kartika Affandi has also become an artist and runs the Affandi Gallery and Heritage Foundation. Member of the LEKRA association, Lembaga Kebudayaan Rakyat. Founder of the Association of Folk Artists, 1947, and the Union of Indonesian Artists, 1952.
