BURMESE LACQUER HSUN-OK OFFERING OR BETEL BOX - Comprised of three sections; wood and coiled bamboo construction with a layered base coat of black lacquer and multiple top coats of red lacquer. Surface is incised with elaborate decoration of dancing figures, temple deities and supplicants, inter-locking floral and foliate decoration. Burmese script is in several places on cover. Condition good; negligible lacquer loss and crazing; small "ding" outside of cover. Early 20th century. 9"H x 9"diameter
