A wonderful example in maru gata form, depicting a pair of quail alongside a stream at night, executed in raised metal (taka zogan), with a flush-fit (hira-zogan) silver moon overhead. Reverse with a carved stream that with florals along the bank. Executed in gold, copper, and shakudo. Approx 6.3cm x 6.8cm. Mumei. Condition Excellent, with some rubbing and tarnishing to silver. Sekigane not quite flush at the top of the nakago-ana. In a kiri box with nakago filler loose in the box. Condition: Dimensions: 4 - 1/2" x 4 - 1/2" x 1 - 1/2"
