This is an outstanding mitokoromono set consting of kozuka, kogai, and a pair of menuki, themed about the Sanbaso dancing tradition. Every piece is individually signed, including the menuki. The motifs depict various paraphernalia used in the ritual, including the rattle and noh mask with carrying trunks. Fabulously detailed with braided robes and fine nanako ground. Housed in a paulownia box French fitted for the pieces. With Tokubetsu Hozon papers dated 2019, describing the pieces as a set. Very rare. CONDITION: Excellent, with some very minor handling marks, most offensive a group of dings on the rear of the kozuka. Box very good. An outstanding and highly detailed set. Condition: Dimensions:
