Signature and seal: on the left, signed “前北斎 戴斗筆 (Zen Hokusai Taito hitsu)”, with red square seal “よしのやま (Yoshinoyama)"; Inscription by Shokusanjin: “たをやめの あたゝかさうに見えたるハ　空にしられぬ 雪のはたえか” (“The graceful woman (layered in clothing) appears warm; could it be because of the snow that falls from the sky, unknown to heaven? Certificate of Designation as “Important Art Object scrolled 98.3×34.3 cm
