JAPANESE IMARI PORCELAIN BOWL, LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY A finely painted Imari porcelain bowl decorated in iron-red, cobalt blue, and green enamels, the interior with a central star-shaped medallion surrounded by panels of flowering plants and circular reserves with stylized motifs. The exterior decorated with radiating cobalt-blue vertical bands alternating with floral reserves. Raised on a short foot with double-ringed base. Dimensions: 8 1/2 in. (21.6 cm) diameter; 3 1/2 in. (8.9 cm) high. Condition: In excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. Keywords: Imari, Arita ware, Meiji period, Japanese porcelain, floral, bowl. Estimate: $150-$250
