JAPANESE PORCELAIN HIBACHI WITH APOCRYPHAL KANGXI MARK A large Japanese porcelain hibachi, decorated in underglaze blue with patterned panels enclosing stylized motifs and auspicious symbols, all set against a dense floral ground. The rim painted with scrolling clouds and wave designs. Signed on the exterior with an apocryphal Chinese Kangxi reign mark. Dimensions: 18 1/4 in. (46.4 cm) top outside diameter; 11 3/4 in. (29.8 cm) top inside diameter; 12 1/4 in. (31.1 cm) height. Condition: Excellent overall condition with minor original glaze skips; no chips, cracks, or repairs.
