Large Japanese Arita Blue and White Charger Finely painted in deep cobalt blue with a central roundel of alternating radiating panels, the surrounding panels decorated with floral sprays and foliage against patterned grounds. The scalloped rim with geometric border, the reverse with stylized leaf motifs and a double-circle enclosing a four-character mark. Size: 16 in. (40.6 cm) diameter. Condition: Minor firing imperfections and glaze wear consistent with age; overall very good condition. Provenance: From a private collection. Estimate: $300 - $500
