An Edo Period, Antique, Imari Temple Jar & Cover, mounted on a carved giltwood stand. The jar decorated with buffalos, pagoda and pergola surrounded by blossom trees and flowers with small stepped lozenge panels to the shoulder and base bands depicting rabbits. The domed cover surmounted by a figural finial in the form of a geisha with fan. The decorative gilt wood base carved with crested acanthus leaves and edged with egg & dart moulding to the top, 31½'' (80 cm) overall height.
