Two Fine Meiji Satsuma Vases. A Huluping vase having two graduated ovoid bulbs to the body below a flared rim, intricately decorated with panels depicting figural scenes and blossom, between elaborate gilt and enamelled trellis work, 10½'' (27 cm) in height, on a carved hardwood base 12½'' (32 cm) overall. The other a signed cylindrical vase decorated with geisha girl and blossom, 4¾'' (12 cm) high, on a carved stand 5½'' (14 cm) overall.
