An Edwardian yellow metal diamond set dress ring taking the form of a sea serpent, the eyes rubover set with two circular small cabochon rubies, measuring 2.2mm dia., the head grain set with twenty-four 8 cut diamonds, measuring from 1-1.5mm dia, with a heavily textured finish, the head flanked to either side by white milligrain decorated wings, one being grain set with twelve, 1 grain set with eleven 8 cut diamonds, measuring 1.3-1.7mm dia., total diamond weight approx 0.6ct, colour GH, clarity S1-I1, unmarked, but tests as 18ct, 16g, size K
