An antique replica Japanese Wakazashi Samurai sword. Crafted from bronze, steel and other mixed metals, with a faux shagreen handle. Features a coiled rope textured surface to handle and scabbard, with ornate foliate repousse to bronze hand guard. Saya is adorned with an ornate bronze element at each end, featuring a leafy nut and vine repousse. Blade is signed with a multiple character mark raised relief. Dimensions: 44.2 X 3 X 2 in. Condition: Good to fair overall condition, with average surface wear, heavy cracking to lacquer finish of the scabbard, and having moderate oxidation and patina to bronze elements of handle.
