A furisode [long-sleeved kimono for a young woman]   Showa period, circa 1960s-1970s the long-sleeved robe in plain black silk weave, decorated in stencil dye (kata-yuzen), with trailing chrysanthemums among scattered open fans variously depicting mandarin blossom (tachibana), paulownia, bamboo grass (sasa), plum, maple, peony, red-capped cranes and the attributes of the Seven Gods of Fortune (Shichifukujin), the reverse with myoga mon [ginger crests] Please note that the lot is sold without the display stand.
