Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1943) Two woodblock prints Showa period, 20th century each a woodblock print, signed Koitsu, sealed Shin, titled in the right margin, publisher's mark to lower left margin Hanken shoyu Doi hanga-ten [copyright reserved, Doi print dealers], with carver’s mark Harada and printer’s mark Yokoi, post-war printings, and comprising: - Numazu along the Eastern Sea Route (Tokaido Numazu), dated Showa jugonen jugatsu saku (made in October 1940) - Kameido Tenjin Shrine (Kameido Tenmangu), dated Showa hachinen shigatsu saku (made in April 1933) Both vertical oban: each approx. 42.2 x 28.3 cm., 16⅝ x 11⅛ in.
