Ito Jakuchu, 1716-1800, was a Japanese painter of the mid-Edo period. Many of his paintings concern traditionally Japanese subjects, such as animals and birds. He is also known for experimenting with perspective. This lot is a set of seven canvas scroll prints of Jukuchu's major works. Subject matter includes roosters, fish, and flowers.
