Ca 19th century. Gold plated Waltham open face pocket watch with the movement marked Sterling. Serial number 3451842. Movement marked Sterling Waltham. 2 1/4 inch diameter. Gold plated watchfob. Case maked Fahys Monarch No 1. Dated 1884. Paper Watch register paper in back. Watch is working. Chips on glass crystal about 1:30 on edge. "Fahy's Monarch Waltham Case No. 1" refers to a specific type of antique pocket watch casemade by the Fahys Watch Case Company that was used to house a watch made by the Waltham Watch Company.
