Louis Audemars gold hunter No. 15.073 with minute repetition, rattrapante chronograph and 60 minute-timer, movement made in about 1873 by Louis Audemars for the English market, finished by successor company Louis Audemars. Five-piece hinges, glazed movement, signed No. 15.073, Louis Audemars Brassus (Suisse) on dome. Slide at 6 oclock for strike-work, push-piece at 12 oclock for rattrapante. Diameter 58 mm. Enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer minute/second circle, subsidiary dial at 12 oclock for small second and 60 minute timer. Blued steel hands. Gilded, grained 3/4 plate movement, fine engraved balance bridge. Wheel train and mirror polished and bevelled steel levers for rattrapante chronograph visible on movement platen. 60 minute timer. Completely jewelled with crimson rubies, some in screwed gold bezels. Blued screws, compensation balance with gold screws with blued Bréguet balance-spring, English lever escapement with counterpoised lever. Swiss made punch on platen, LA punch hidden under movement platen, movement serial No. 15.073 punched on edge of movement platen.
