Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797-1861), Tsukioka Kogyo (1869-1927) and others Edo period (1615-1868) to Meiji era (1868-1912), mid 19th to early 20th century Two oban and three oban triptych prints: the first a yoko-e by Hiroshige of Shirasuga from the Hoeido Tokaido gojusatsugui (53 Stations on the Tokaido Road) series; the second a tate-e by Kuniyoshi depicting a female role kabuki actor; the third a triptych by Chikanobu of Shigatsu (Fourth month) from the series Edo Fuzoku junikagetsu (12 Months in Fashionable Edo); the fourth a triptych by Yoshiiku depicting famous courtesans in the Yoshiwara; the last a triptych by Kogyo of Okina (The Old Man) from the series Nogaku hyakuban (100 Noh Plays); all variously published and variously signed.
