The cylindrical body with spout incised to simulate the wood grain of plum tree with details of inlaid gold, applied with a handle in the form of bamboo with gold knots, the lid set with a piered gold finial cast as a pine cone, signed on base and on a gold tablet mounted on top of lid, and underside of lid 85⁄8 in. (21.9 cm.) high With double original wood boxes titled Shochikubai chokoku ginsei mizusashi (Silver kettle carved with the Three Friends of Winter), signed Katsutoshi on top and dated May 1913 Please note this lot is the property of a private individual.
