291. [Sherlockiana.] Vintage silver pendant metal for the Diogenes Club of Tokyo. (ca. 1940s) Silver 1 in. round pendant medal by artist Taro for the Diogenes Club of Tokyo, Japan. With relief image of Diogenes holding a lantern on the front and image of Torii Gate and “silver” stamp on the verso. The emblem of Baritsu Chapter of The Baker Street Irregulars founded on October 12, 1948. With attached hanging hoop for wearing on a chain. Accompanied by its original delicate wood and felt-lined presentation box. In vintage very good condition. Estimated value: $200 - $300
