Original color woodblock print Japan, 1930s to 1950s These four modern Japanese woodblock prints include two prints by Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000); one of Tsurugaoka Hachimangū, the most important Shinto shrine in Kamakura, and the other of Mount Shiroyama in Kagoshima, overlooking the volcano Sakurajima. The other two prints are by Ono Bakufu (1888-1976), depicting a farmhouse at night, and Kasamatsu Shiro (1898-1991), depicting a rainy day in Suenaga. Dimensions: AVERAGE SIZE 27.5 x 40.4 CM Condition: Fresh colors and overall in good condition; the Shiro print is inscribed in pencil on the margins and on the reverse; some browning, creases and small tears around the margins Provenance: Galerie Zacke archive
